This story began with my three boys asking me to sit down and tell them a story.

We were on a two-month family road trip, and a new "chapter" was told to the boys every week or so off the cuff.

Trenton's story became deeper and the characters more real, so I began to write down character and plot ideas as they came to me in a small leather notebook.

After a few months, I began to email out chapters as they were written to other kids we knew. And finally, with the encouragement of my wife and sons, I decided to put the white wolf's story into book form.
